Visiting Nashville

1. Definitely get out and take a walk along Broadway. See all the little cafes and clubs.
   Operaland hotel is worth a look see too.

3. Hey! Welcome to Nashville! I’m a grad student at Vandy!

   Unfortunately, being a grad student leaves me absolutely no free time, so I can’t really recommend much. While you’re at Vandy, though, stop by the Pancake Pantry. Good stuff there.

5. I was in Nashville two years ago for six days, which was longer than I liked! Seriously, go to Legends downtown — great people, good music, good times. There are some good restaurants and cafes, plenty of music. Grand Old Opry is always worth seeing.

   If hockey was on, I’d say grab a Nashville Preds game, but, oh, well. . .

   The Country Music Hall of Fame (next door and sort of behind the hockey arena) is very well done and lots of fun.
