Last November Kybx and I had the great pleasure of riding the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad in Allegany County. The cool, damp day at the height of fall colors made it slippery going for the 1916 Baldwin 2–8–0 Steam Engine, but we eventually made the trip from Cumberland, MD up to the small town of Frostburg, MD and back again. I made this photo on the turntable that reverses the steam engine’s direction at the Frostburg Station.
