A little something for this week’s Photo Friday Challenge: glow. Sixteen years ago we still had Little Tavern in Washington D.C., and like their counterparts, White Castle and Krystal, they served little square burgers by the bag.
I played my first game of pac-man in the Silver Spring restaurant, and ditched high school in the Wheaton branch. To the best of my knowledge the Georgetown location, pictured here, was the last to close down. This night-time view of that restaurant was a welcome way station for drunken students before venturing home. I snapped this image in 1988 and rotoscoped it for Photo Friday.
