  1. Hey man, I hear ya. I’ve been trying to go for walks and get more active in general, but I seem to be at a standstill when it comes to losing weight. Have you tried one of the calorie counting programs on the iPhone? I used one regularly for several weeks (and should get back to using it) and it really made me aware of how much I was eating and I would find myself choosing not to eat something because I knew I’d already had a certain amount.

Best of luck and I’ll be trying right there with you.

  3. I just don’t eat….works wonders with me. Also look into acquiring Irritable Bowel Syndrome…IBS works wonders in forcing you to completely avoid all but the lightest blandest foods.

  5. Funny, just this morning I noticed I was having trouble finding the notch for my belt, and when I looked I realized that I was trying to tighten it beyond where there were holes. My belts are now both officially too large for me. (Weight is mid-range for me as an adult; lowest was in low 160s, highest was about 200, currently 178 lb.)

Best advice I can give is eat less, eat more filling/lower calorie meals (oatmeal?), avoid 140-Cal. sodas, avoid fast/junk food, and get some exercise regularly (doesn’t have to be super-high impact).
